The Way We Care
Our manager, Annie Clough, leads a team of experienced carers.
Our staff teams are at full strength and we are open to new residents so please call if you are seeking a room – we can give you a live virtual tour!
We have safe visiting facilities in our homes so we are open to visitors but please phone to book a time to visit.
Shorts stays and Respite Care
We offer short stay and respite care. Respite care can allow someone to recuperate after a spell in hospital or give family carers a break. New friendships are made and we often see respite residents more than once!
Activities
Our activities team organise daily entertainment and activities, which include Musical entertainers, seated exercise classes, arts and crafts and word games. Our gardener also runs a weekly gardening club.
Residents who want a change of scenery can enjoy a car ride to local places of interest or attend a service in the local church. Our activities team helps with personal shopping, outings, appointments and maintaining contact with family and friends.
Our hairdresser visits weekly and we have an excellent local GP practice. Other healthcare professionals (physiotherapy, chiropodists, opticians etc.) also visit regularly.

Lampton House cared for my mother for 15 years, from when she was unable to look after herself at home due to poor mobility and confusion, though her general ageing and deterioration, and eventually her death.
Throughout all these years she was well caredfor, always comfortable, well fed and confident in her environment.
All the staff have always been welcoming to visitors and it is clear they care for all residents with calm compassion whatever their care needs may be. From the wine at Sunday lunch, the splendid Christmas dinner and homemade birthday cakes with singing every year they provide a very homely welcoming place.
I only have good words for all of the staff, they made my mother's last years happy and secure.

My mother resided at Lampton House for 9 years. She was very happy and always felt safe. The level of care given by the manager and her team was excellent. All staff shows residents respect, care, and patience. The days are well structured which really suited mum. Mealtimes were good, tasty, and healthy food was served, always an important part of her day. A wide range of daily activities were always enjoyed, especially the quizzes.

Wonderful care of my mother during the last 3 years. The staff and the Manager in particular could not have done more to make mum healthy and happy. The love of all concerned kept mum at peace and she referred to Lampton as a hotel, full of nice people. Thank you so much.

(Son of Resident)
Lampton House is a small, caring Home with a very pretty garden and various planned activities. Mum was resident at Lampton House for 6 years, until her needs became too complex and she transferred to a Nursing Home. Whilst Mum had minimal physical care needs she had other complex needs. The Manager and staff dealt with these with care and compassion. I cannot thank them enough for the patience and understanding they consistently demonstrated, not just to Mum, but to me and my sister as well. Whilst the Manager, my sister and I thought Mum would spend the remainder of her life at Lampton House, sadly Mum's need's became far too complex. The Manager was key in ensuring that the right Nursing Home was found for Mum for which my sister and I are very grateful. We wholly recommend Lampton House.

Our fees
Our fees cover all the normal day-to-day needs of our residents including care and attention, food and consumables, laundry, entertainment, activities, and local excursions etc. The majority of our residents are self-funding, meaning they pay for their own care, but anyone considering a move into a care home can ask their local authority’s adult social care department for advice about funding options. Local authorities can offer financial assistance to individuals based on income, savings and assets. If a local authority offers funding but it does not cover our full fee then a third party (normally the family) can 'top-up'.
